Former Fort D Player Dies in Florida Wreck
Darrian George and members of his family died when SUV overturned.

Former Fort Dorchester High School basketball player Darrian George, 17, died Oct. 8 in a car wreck in Florida, according to the Ocala Oracle.
Florida State Highway Patrol said George was driving the vehicle with his family southbound on I-75, outside of Ocala, the story reported.Â
(The) 2002 Chevy Tahoe was heading south in the outside lane when it veered left across the middle and inside lanes and onto the grassy median about two miles north of the State Road 326 exit.

The driver, Darrian George, 17, took evasive action by braking and steering to the right in an attempt to return to the roadway, troopers said. But the teenager lost control of the SUV, which overturned several times.
Darrian, his two siblings and 30-year-old Tiffany Bradshaw, Darrian's stepmother, died. Darrian's father and three other children survived the crash.

According to The Post and Courier, Darrian, a high school senior, transferred to a Georgia school.Â
