Freehouse Brewery is open and making their debut with a tour of some of the area's wonderful brewpubs and tap rooms. They have selected a handful of area establishments to launch their beers, and Homegrown Brewhouse made the cut! We are honored to have been selected and excited to announce that Freehouse Brewery is coming to Homegrown Brewhouse onSaturday, November 16th at noon for a special event. Freehouse will be bringing their their first 2 beers, an IPA and a stout, that aren't yet being distributed! You really don't want to miss this opportunity to be one of a handful to have tried their beers before they hit the market. Arthur Lucas, founder of Freehouse Brewery will be present to release these beers and talk to you about his brewery and brews. If you haven't heard about Freehouse Brewery, here's a little info on this awesome new brewery: Freehouse Brewery was started by Arthur Lucas, a lawyer and political advisor turned brewer, who has a serious passion for craft beer. Freehouse is located in North Charleston in an industrial park with a beautiful view of the Ashley River, with their focus being on farmhouse style beers. And we think they have some very unique offerings too, including a fantastic view, an Italian gravity bottling system, producing only USDA Certified Organic beers, and offering patrons the ability to roam the brewery during tastings. Please make plans to join us for this special event and to extend a warm Summerville welcome to this new brewery.
