Going Paperless
Dorchester County Council spends money to save money by going paperless; council chambers will feature Wi-Fi.

Dorchester County's plans to go paperless could show big returns in less than a year and a half.
The county is planning to replace their paper system, by providing county council members with Wi-Fi capable Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 tablets, which would eliminate the need to print agendas and other items used during meetings, according to Michael Boatwright, ITS director for the county.
Currently, the county spends more than $6,600 a year on paper, Boatwright said.
