Tire-nappers grabbed the wheels off a Dorchester County Sheriff's vehicle on Monday.
The Post and Courier reports theives made off with tires from a Dorchester County sheriff's cruiser on Monday.
“It just shows nobody is immune,” said Maj. John Garrison, the public information officer for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. “If they’ll take it from us, they’ll take it from anybody.”
According to the story, the brand new vehicle was stowed at Mr. Sign for customized decals when the tires, valued at $1,600, were nabbed.
