House Speaker: 'No Pork' in Budget
Dorchester and Charleston counties' representative reports reduced size in state government and decrease in taxes.
State Speaker of the House and District 114 Rep. Bobby Harrell said today in an editorial with The State that the state's budget contains "no pork."
"Your lawmakers have truly reduced the size of state government by cutting both taxes and spending," Harrell said.
