Local Talented Group Plays at Coastal Coffee Roasters

Every once in a while a musical group comes together that blends talent and passion and is entertaining for all ages. Coastal Coffee Roasters in Summerville SC hosts a local band each month that has accomplished this feat. Busker sounds like a funny name for a band. The name “busker” means to entertain or play for tips. Watching the band play is very entertaining as they pull the audience into every song that they present – and they present a LOT of songs. Each of the five band members contributes vocals and they swap out instruments throughout the evening. It is hard not to be mesmerized by the vocal talent of Sarah Daniels, the guitar playing of Dave Keller, the piano and trumpet ability of John Daniels, the bass playing of Rick Olson and the percussion skills of Tim Hamilton. Be prepared to play along with these fantastic musicians as they wander through the crowd and hand out instruments for all who want to join them. Busker typically plays on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Coastal Coffee Roasters from 7pm until 10:30pm. Coastal Coffee Roasters serves not only the best coffee on the planet, but also craft beer and wine as well as food. There is no cover charge as the band plays for tips . . . hence the name.
