Man Injured in Drug Deal
Tyrone Bouie of Summerville walks into fire station demanding medical attention after an alleged drug deal gone bad.

A 40-year-old Summerville man walked into Fire Station No. 1 on West 2nd North Street around 11 p.m. Aug. 23 asking for medical attention, after he was allegedly beaten with a 2x4 piece of lumber over a $15 drug deal.
Tyrone Bouie identified his assailant, but no arrest or charges have been made at this time. However, the investigation remains active.
The responding officer noted no "injuries to Bouie's person consistent with Bouie's recollection of the incident, and noted "a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath."

Bouie was transported to Summerville Medical Center for treatment. Bouie complained of injury to his neck and right leg, according to the incident report.
According to Bouie, the incident allegedly occurred at 803 West 3rd North St. Bouie said while at the residence, he gave his alleged attacker $15 for "some weed."

The man went to the back bedroom and, when he returned "very angry," he ordered Bouie ordered out of the house. Bouie told police he demanded his $15 back since he had not received the marijuana.
Bouie said that was when the man "attacked him and started to punch and push him.' Bouie said after he fell to the ground, the man allegedly picked up a 2x4 and struck Bouie five times in the legs and elbow, breaking the wood over him.
The man then allegedly picked up a shotgun and pointed it at Bouie, threatening to kill him if he told anyone about the incident, Bouie stated in the report.
Bouie stated in the report that he wanted to press charges.
