Neighborhoods Experience Thefts and Burglaries
Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and Summerville Police Department respond to thefts and break-ins in Pine Forest Country Club, The Bridges of Summerville and Cooper's Ridge Apartments.

Look your car doors and don't keep any valuables in view, Summerville.
In the last week, Pine Forest Country Club, The Bridges of Summerville and Cooper's Ridge Apartments have experienced multiple thefts.
Thefts from vehicles and burglaries are commonplace among Summerville and Dorchester County law enforcement's incident reports, but these neighborhoods have compiled at least eight reports since Nov. 30. Most reports were made Dec. 2 and Dec. 3.

Here is a list of the incidents:
- Burglary (laptop and television valued at $750), Nov. 30, 200 Coopers Ridge Drive, Cooper's Ridge Apartments in Ladson.
- Theft from motor vehicle (CD player and sound system valued at $3,100), Dec. 1, 1000 Coopers Ridge Drive, Cooper's Ridge Apartments.
- Burglary (TV valued at $500), Dec. 2, 900 Coopers Ridge Drive, Cooper's Ridge Apartments.
- Theft of articles from vehicle (radio and cell phone valued at $300), Dec. 2, 34 Muirfield Village Court, Pine Forest Country Club.
- Theft of articles from vehicle (sunglasses valued at $275), Dec. 2, 130 Amen Corner, Pine Forest Country Club.
- Theft of articles from vehicle (.40 Glock 27 handgun valued at $500), Dec. 3, 133 Amen Corner, Pine Forest Country Club.
- Theft of articles from vehicle (money valued at $100) Dec. 3 at 103 Lakewood Drive, The Bridges of Summerville.
- Theft of articles from vehicle (radio valued at $200), Dec. 3, 71 Regency Oaks Drive, The Bridges of Summerville.
It is not clear if any of the cases are linked.
