New Face at the Library

has a new face: Chris Johnston, assistant branch manager at the Summerville branch. And former assistant branch manager Jason Reed has become the new children services coordinator.

Johnston comes from the Berkeley County Library System where he has held numerous positions. He became the branch manager of the new Daniel Island Branch in 2006. 

Reed has worked as a library assistant at the Lexington County Library and as a reference librarian at Georgetown County Library. He joined the staff at Dorchester County Public Library in 2008 as teen librarian. In 2010, he became assistant branch manager.
