North Charleston Native Performs at Coker

Ashley West of North Charleston recently performed in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," which was presented at Coker College in the Watson Theater of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center for three performances in early November.

West, a junior musical theater major and formerly of Dorchester County School District Two, portrayed Lucy in the play. Based on the Charles Schultz comic strip, "Peanuts," the musical presents a typical day in the life of Charlie Brown, his friends and his faithful dog, Snoopy. It is a revised version of the original 1971 show that played on Broadway in 1999.
