Parents Wanted in Death of Son

Summerville Police say a 13-year-old boy died as result of neglect.

Malnourishment and neglect led to the death of a 13-year-old Summerville boy Feb. 10, say police who now searching for the boy's mother and step-father.

According to Summerville Police, Kimberly Marie Love, 31, and Jason Monroe Buckley, 29, are wanted for murder. 

On Feb. 10, police were called to the residence at 1925 Bacons Bridge Road in reference to an unresponsive 13-year-old boy, who was then declared deceased upon evaluation.

The death was ruled a homicide by malnourishment and neglect, according to police.

According to the child's obituary, he is survived by two brothers and a sister. 

Love and Buckley have family members that live in the tricounty area and their whereabouts are unknown as of Sunday, Feb. 19. Love and Buckley could possibly be operating a White 2003 Chevrolet Pickup bearing S.C. license plate DII170 or a Black 1992 Isuzu Rodeo bearing S.C. license plate GNM727.
