Pharmacist Aids Police in Arrest

Subject tried to purchase 96 pills of pseudoephedrine.

Summerville Police arrested Jeremy Blue Craig, 34, of North Charleston after he allegedly tried to purchase a 96-pill box of pseudoephedrine June 25 at the Walgreen's on N. Main Street.

He was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and not for the attempted purchase. Pseudoephedrine is commonly used in the production of methamphetamine.

According to the incident report, Craig had tried to purchase the pills but when the pharmacist, who asked to remain anonymous, ran his name through the system, it showed he had already purchased the maximum amount of pseudoephedrine allowed by law.
