Pinewood Continues to Deny ReVille-Linked Allegations

Statement released Thursday by Summerville private school says latest lawsuit is 'without merit.'

l Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. James Mann released Thursday a statement that continues to deny the school's administration having any prior knowledge of misconduct between a former teacher and pupils. 

The statement comes on the heels of when information was brought forth by victims of teacher and coach Louis "Skip" ReVille, who no longer works for the school.

Thursday's statement from Mann:

Pinewood continues to fully cooperate with investigators and has provided information as requested by law enforcement. SLED recently interviewed a number of educators at the school and indicated that the information provided appeared to be consistent with facts already collected by investigators. The allegations of this second lawsuit are unfounded and without merit.
