Rollings Middle Accepting Applications

Rising seventh-graders in Dorchester District Two and their parents are encouraged to apply for an audition at Rollings Middle School of the Arts. Applications are due 4 p.m. July 14 and auditions are Aug. 6 at the school.

The arts core areas at Rollings consist of band, dance, piano, strings, theatre arts, visual art, and vocal music. However, openings may not occur in all the arts cores. The acceptance process is based on the audition.

Students who previously auditioned and were not accepted, may re-apply.

Application forms for Rollings Middle School of the Arts were sent home with all sixth grade students the district before the end of the school year. The applications are also available at the Gifted & Fine Arts Center, located at 805 S. Main Street in Summerville.

Completed applications may be mailed or delivered to the Gifted & Fine Arts Center. Proof of residency in the district will be required at the time of audition.
