Ron Paul Signs Up for Tea Party Convention

GOP presidential nominee hopeful Ron Paul will be one of three candidates to speak at inaugural convention in Myrtle Beach.

MYRTLE BEACH — Ron Paul has accepted the S.C. Tea Party Convention's invitation to address voters, according to convention organizer Joe Dugan.

The Texas Congressman will join former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum and former Speaker Newt Gingrich.

, which began Sunday and continues through Monday. Saturday afternoon, Ron Paul's campaign confirmed to speak at 3:45 p.m. Monday, according to Dugan.

The three candidates will begin speaking at 3 p.m. Monday at the convention, which is only open to tea party members and held at the Springmaid Beach Resort. The candidates will speak for 20 minutes each.
