Santa Rides in Dorchester Co. Ambulance

18 special children, previously transported by Dorchester County EMS for life-threatening conditions, get a different visit from the emergency responders and Santa Claus.

Dorchester County EMS held its “Santa in the Ambulance Day” on Saturday. 

Beginning at 9 a.m., Santa and his Elves (DCEMS Paramedics and EMT’s) visited the homes of 18 children, each of whom were transported by Dorchester County EMS in 2012 for an emergent, life-threatening condition.
