School Crime Report: March 17

- A 16-year-old student at was accused of assaulting another student on Feb. 13. The school administration disciplined the student and no arrests were made. According to the incident report, the student allegedly pulled the hood of a sweat shirt over the victim's head and began striking her with a closed fist.
- Summerville High student Dameion Rashad Mazyck, 17, was arrested and charged Feb. 15 for disorderly conduct. According to the report, the school is pursuing charges and has followed up on disciplinary actions.
- Two students were arrested for allegedly fighting in the 7th and 8th grade courtyard Feb. 23. The students, aged 14 and 15, were released to their parents, and the school moved to discipline the children.
- A missing child was reported at Feb. 23. The child was found shortly after the report was made.
- On Feb. 24, a 15-year-old student at Summerville High was arrested and charged for simple possession of marijuana. According to the incident report, the student allegedly possessed 1.6 grams of the drug. The school moved to discipline the child.
- An assault was reported between two students March 1. The incident was reported by a parent and the report does not show if any arrests were made.
- An student was arrested for drug/narcotic violations for allegedly possessing 3 ounces of marijuana March 1. The suspect was released to his father and a juvenile case file will be completed on the student.
