Student Charged for Bomb Threat

It may have been a joke, but teachers and the student resource officer at weren't laughing when a teacher allegedly overheard a student saying he was going to bring a bomb to school Jan. 19.

When the officer sat down to talk to the student in custody, who's name has been withheld because he is a minor, the student said he and another student were talking about a TV show and he joked "I'm going to bring a bomb like that to school."

When the teacher told him that wasn't funny, he said he then told her about another show where a teacher got shot in the head three times for cheating on her husband. He told the officer that he asked her if she could guess what subject the teacher taught. 

The student was charged with making a bomb threat.
