Students Allegedly Behaving Badly in Area Schools

A quick round-up of recent incidents in Dorchester Two schools.

More than seven incidents and three arrests have occurred at Dorchester County School District Two schools since Nov. 1, according to Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and Summerville Police incident reports.

Here are five of the recent incidents:

  • Summerville Police arrested a 13-year-old at for possession of Tic Tac container of marijuana on Nov. 2.
  • Dorchester County deputies arrested a student for disorderly conduct for slamming a chair into window and disrupting a class with profanities on Nov. 1.
  • Dorchester County deputies arrested an student for disorderly conduct on Nov. 4. The suspect allegedly using profanity and creating a disruption in the school. 
  • A mother reported to Summerville Police that her son was assaulted by another student in the football locker room at on Nov. 2. The alleged victim reported that while watching a football scrimmage, he was shoved hard in the back and then later in the locker room, he was punched by the same subject. 
  • An Ashley Ridge student reported to Dorchester County deputies being hit by a car on Nov. 3 while working in the parking lot during the football game. The suspect has not been identified.
