Students Earn Accolades at Coastal Carolina

Three Summerville residents have made the President's List for the fall 2012 term at Coastal Carolina University. They include:

• Nickolas H. Bell, a Political Science major
• Kayla L. Haggerty, a Undeclared-Undergraduate major
• Julietta M. Marks, a Political Science major

To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

The following Summerville residents were among the approximately 1,800 students from Coastal Carolina University who made the Fall 2012 Dean's List:

• Ryan N. Beckley, a Communication major
• Karlos E. Green, a Marketing major 
• Shawnte S. Posley, a Communication major 
• Shelby E. Barker, a Marine Science major 
• Michael J. Stewart, a Marine Science major 
• Lauren M. Meyers, a Elementary Education Pre-Major major
• Jillian N. Frederick, a Communication major 
• Matthew P. Gahagan, a Management major 
• Amy L. Reeves, a Psychology major 
• Daniela P. Corona, a Sociology major
• Jonathan R. O'Brien, a Computer Science major 

To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.
