Summerville Barely Beats Stratford 14-10

Summerville Green Wave managed a 14-10 win against Stratford Knights to continue its season 4-1. 

No points were scored by Summerville's offense, which came off of the week before. 

On defense, Ryan Fowler picked up a fumble for a 27-yard return and a touchdown. Also on defense, Darrin Smalls picked off a Stratford pass for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Green Wave's offense made only 10 first downs all game, turned over the ball twice and lost 34 yards in 21 rushing attempts. The team lost 50 yards to penalties.

While kicker Parker Cleveland put extra points twice through the uprights, he missed an attempted field goal. 

Stratford's one touchdown came from passing and the team's kicker brought in three points. 

Summerville Green Wave plays West Ashley Friday.
