This is the 3rd annual Day of Service to help individuals and
organizations in need and lift the spirits of all. In the past two years 580 volunteers, 23
organizations and 27 sponsors have linked arms to complete 44 projects in parks
and non-profits that serve our community.
Projects are available for all ages.
Kick-off breakfast hosted by Mayor Bill Collins is at 8 am at Colonial
Dorchester Historic Site at 300 County Road, just off Dorchester Rd near its intersection with Old
Trolley Rd. Bring your rakes, shovels,
loppers and smiles. Breakfast and lunch
provided. Other projects are available including a food drive for Palmetto
House, repairs at Gregg Middle School and blood drive for American Red
