Summerville Woman Charged in Robbery

Charleston police arrested four suspects Wednesday after they allegedly robbed a man in West Ashley.

Charleston police arrested Crysania Lynn Skidmore, 18, of Summerville and charged her with accessory after the fact for an armed robbery that took place Wednesday morning in West Ashley. 

In total four people were arrested in alleged connection with the crime, according to incident reports.

Bryan Michael Chubb, 29, of Ladson is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Kent Wayne Johnson, 31, of North Charleston is charged with armed robbery. And Brandenn Holmes Henrickson, 19, of Charleston is charged with accessory after the fact.

About 12:50 a.m., according to the police report, the victim exited his vehicle and walked toward a friend’s apartment when he was approached by two of the suspects. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The other two suspects waited inside of the car.

According to the police, the suspects robbed the victim of his money and left the area in their car. The victim got into his vehicle followed the suspects for a short period and he was able to provide a description of the vehicle along with its license plate number to police dispatch.

Officers initiated a traffic stop of the suspects’ vehicle at Ashley River Road and Magwood, where the suspects were taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
