Summerville Woman Charged with Obstructing Justice
A Berkeley County EMS worker allegedly concealed drugs from law enforcement after DUI wreck in Moncks Corner.
The S.C. Highway Patrol has arrested and charged Chelsea Arrowood, 27, of Summerville with obstruction of justice after the Berkeley County EMS employee allegedly concealed marijuana at the scene of a Moncks Corner wreck on Nov. 10.
She was arrested Friday.
The wreck has been deemed a felony DUI crash by the highway patrol. According to highway patrol, Arrowood allegedly took marijuana from a crash victim in an attempt to conceal it from law enforcement.

She is currently being booked into the Berkeley County Detention Center. The fine for obstructing justice will be set by the court and it also carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
