Summerville Woman Charged With Wire Fraud

Five-count indictment follows Secret Service investigation.

A Summerville woman has been indicted on wire fraud charges, according to U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.

Kay Infinger Day, 48, faces five counts of wire fraud. If convicted, she could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service, according to Nettles.

He stressed in a statement that Day is considered innocent until proven guilty.
