Suspicious Activity Reported on Tea Farm Road

While no one was harmed and there is no follow up investigation, suspicious activity put the neighborhood of Tea Farm Road on alert Saturday as residents feared an unknown person attempted to kidnap an 11-year-old girl.

Summerville Police did not respond when the alleged incident occured because they were not called. It was only later when an officer found out about the incident that a report was filed — . 

According to Saturday's report, the girl was jogging when a gold Mercedes vehicle slowed nearly to a stop near her, drawing suspicion. The report states that the subject was staring at her, and then repeatedly drove off and turned back around to drive past.
