Tax counselor Laura
Sterling of Mt. Pleasant will give a presentation on income tax
problems connected to the "Affordable Care Act" at the next meeting of
the Lowcountry CIA (Conservations in Action).
Ms. Sterling has been preparing taxes for 15 years and is well-versed on the ramifications of the ACA, which is due to
go into full effect October first.
The
group, which has been meeting for two years, educates citizens on many
issues, including school choice and common core standards, Agenda 21,
SNAP, voter ID, and illegal immigration. Some members recently went to
Washington D.C. for the "Defund Obamacare" Rally and will share what
they observed.
The public is invited; a $3 fee helps defray the
costs. Finger foods are donated for a social gathering that starts at
