The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify a subject wanted in connection with a 4:20 a.m. July 9 burglary of the VFW Post on Bellwright Road in Ladson.
The suspect has a muscular build and appears to be between 30 and 40 years of age, according to Public Information Officer Dan Moon.
The vehicle used in the incident is described as a late 1990 or early 2000 two-door Ford Escort with some kind of sticker or pass in the left front windshield, deputies said.

The suspect allegedly broke into the building, damaging the doorframe of the storage room and stole beer, wine, soda and gun-cleaning kits, according to the incident report.
