Warrant Issued for Axe Break-in

Summerville Police have identified and are now seeking Justin Robert Murray, 26, of Ladson in connection to of on Ladson Road. 

During the alleged burglary, in which nothing but a bottle of liquor was taken, the suspect entered the building using an axe.

The suspect was caught on surveillance tape but not identified until now.

According to the incident report, the suspect allegedly used an axe to gain entry through a window. Once inside, he allegedly opened an empty cash drawer and then took a bottle of liquor from the bar before departing. 

The Aug. 29 report describes the suspect as a "younger white male subject, wearing dark shorts and a dark t-shirt, with sandy blonde or brown hair." The report also says it appeared he wore gloves during the incident.
