What You Need to Know About Registering for School

School registration begins Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Information provided by Dorchester County School District Two

Students who will be attending Dorchester District Two schools for the 2013-2014 school year should register during Fact and Fee days on Aug. 6
as follows:

  • 7 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. Aug. 6 and 7
The registration times are:
  • 7 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m Aug. 7
Students should register at the school they will be attending and should bring a current utility bill that includes a service address in parent/guardian’s name to verify residency.  There is a $20 registration fee that is used for materials and resources at the student’s school.  At registration, parents and students can 
pick up class assignments/schedules, pay school fees, purchase meal tickets, join the Parent Teacher Association or complete necessary paperwork.  

New students enrolling in the district for the first time should enroll at the school they will be attending and are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. The following documentation is needed for new students:

• A certified birth certificate
• A South Carolina Immunization Form, DHEC 1148 available from the Dorchester County Health 
Department or any physician’s office.
• A proof of residence in the form of a utility bill in the parent/guardian name with current service 
address
