After three weeks of reviewing nonfiction standards by reading a variety of articles about the Iditarod, fourth grade students at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary got a surprise visit from a former Iditarod racer.
Sadie, a 6-year-old Alaskan Husky, with her owners Bob and Kay Keasey, visited Kara Clouser's fourth grade classes.
During their visit, the Keaseys shared stories, photographs, and memorabilia from the 2007 Iditarod where musher G.B. Jones raced with Sadie on his team.
