As a deputy pulled up a chair for lunch, his cannister of oleoresin capsicum, or pepper, spray accidentally discharged Feb. 9 at at Meme's Soul Food Kitchen on Central Avenue. 

According to the incident report, no one was injured when the back of the chair depressed the top of the spray cannister as the deputy sat back. The restaurant was quickly aired out.
