Zapp Precision Wire Wins Industry Appreciation Tournament

Dorchester County Economic Development hosted the 21st annual Industry Appreciation Week Golf Tournament Oct. 6 at the in Summerville.  

This year's winner was Zapp Precision Wire.

Dorchester County first began this event in an effort to recognize the outstanding contributions of the county’s existing industries and manufacturers. It has since evolved into a long-standing tradition that is eagerly anticipated by industries and allies alike.

Designated by the Governor of South Carolina, Industry Appreciation Week is a statewide celebration to honor and salute existing industries from across the state.

Kapstone Charleston Kraft LLC received second place as an industry team, and Norfolk Southern won first place as a non-industry team.
