• Tropical Grille ordered to pay $618K after labor violations at Upstate locations (wspa.com) — Workers at Tropical Grille's Greer location are among more than 700 employees receiving back wages after a federal investigation into overtime, record-keeping, and youth labor violations across the chain's Upstate restaurants. The Greenville-based company has already paid over $618,000 in back wages and an additional $100,000 in penalties after the Department of Labor's findings from a 2024 review.
