• 2026 Tax Sales (greenvillejournal.com) — Greer property owners with delinquent Greenville County taxes should know their properties may be auctioned at a public tax sale on October 19–20, 2026, at the Greenville Convention Center. The sale covers real estate and mobile homes with unpaid county and city taxes, including those owed to Greer, and must be paid in cash, cashier's check, or money order.
   

• Moleaer patents nanobubble process to improve wastewater polymer performance (processingmagazine.com) — Greer's Commission of Public Works reports major savings at the Maple Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant after adopting a new nanobubble process, cutting polymer use by about 30% while keeping solids performance steady. The technology, already proven at another utility in Oregon, installs on existing equipment and lets operators trade off between lower chemical costs and drier sludge cakes.
