• Jury convicts Upstate man in shooting during traffic dispute (wspa.com) — A Union County jury has convicted Dustin Medford and a judge sentenced him to 23 years without parole for shooting his estranged wife during a traffic confrontation while their two-year-old son was in his vehicle. The 2024 incident, which happened at a red light in Union County, left the victim with a grazing head wound but highlighted the danger to both her and the child.
