Arrowhead Parkway project to be completed next month (keloland.com) — Drivers on Sioux Falls' east side can expect Arrowhead Parkway to fully reopen to Veterans Parkway by November 20, easing a major traffic bottleneck. The $39 million project will create the state's largest intersection, add multiple turn lanes, and include three lighted pedestrian underpasses, improving safety and access for nearby neighborhoods that have endured two summers of detours and cut-through traffic.
3. A surprise delivery from CJ Schwan's (keloland.com) — Construction of CJ Schwan's new food production plant in Sioux Falls is on track to start operations late next year, and the company has already begun hiring. To introduce themselves, staff are delivering free snacks to places like Fire Station 11 while promoting the 600-plus jobs coming to Foundation Park, where Bibigo dumplings and egg rolls will be made.
4. 5. SDSU QB Chase Mason holds autograph signing (keloland.com) — Jackrabbit fans in Sioux Falls got to meet SDSU quarterback Chase Mason during an autograph session hosted with UNRL and Scheels. Mason said he used the team's bye week to give back to kids in the Sioux Falls and Brookings area, and noted his injury status is improving ahead of next weekend's big game.
