The new group fitness facility employs a sports-science backed training regimen led by certified trainers to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals. 
D1 Training Sioux Falls is locally owned and operated by Todd Gannon, who joins a roster of impressive existing franchisees, including former professional and collegiate athletes. Additional D1 partners include NBA star Chris Paul and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow.
Todd Gannon brings a lifetime of athletic passion and leadership experience to his new role as a D1 Training franchisee. After 12 years in the corporate world, Gannon made the leap to entrepreneurship, spending the last five to six years running his own business. Throughout it all, coaching remained his true calling. For 22 years he coached high school football, and for 12 years he coached youth sports, always finding his greatest fulfillment on the field mentoring athletes. Despite this passion, Gannon long believed coaching couldn't be a viable career, something to love on the side rather than build a future around. It was his wife who urged him to stop treating it as a hobby and pursue what he truly loved as his life's work. That encouragement led him to D1 Training, where its mission to serve both youth and adult athletes, and the values behind that mission, convinced him he'd finally found a way to turn his passion into his profession.
"For years, I loved coaching, but I never thought it could actually be a career, I figured it just wasn't realistic," said Gannon. "My wife was the one who pushed me to stop separating what I love from what I do for a living. That's what led me to D1 Training. Seeing their commitment to both youth and adult athletes, and the values they stand for, showed me this could be exactly what I was looking for. Now I get to do what I love every single day and call it my career."
D1 Training offers four age-based programs including Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18) and D1 Adult. Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers group, semi-private, and one-on-one training with world-class coaches. The goal is simple: to continue to train athletes who are dedicated to their sport or fitness goals, regardless of age, or athletic background.
