Construction To Begin On Sioux Falls 85th Street

April 15, 2020

Beginning on Friday, April 17, 2020, West 85th Street will be closed to thru traffic from Tallgrass Avenue to Hughes Avenue. Access will be maintained for those residents who live directly off of West 85th Street.

Work will include utility installation, concrete pavement, new street lights and sidewalk installation. Weather permitting, construction is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020 with final completion in the spring of 2021.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
