Highland Addition Improvements – Street Closures For Pearl Street Sherman Avenue To Wayland Avenue And Wayland Avenue In City Of Sioux Falls
Beginning on Monday, August 30, 2021, the outside westbound lane of 26th Street will be closed between Deerberry Trail and Sertoma Avenue.

Beginning on Monday, August 30, 2021, Pearl Street from Sherman Avenue to Wayland Avenue will be closed to traffic, and Wayland Avenue from Fourth Street to Pearl Street will be closed to traffic to allow crews to begin work on Phase 2 of the Highland Addition Improvement project.

The work includes improvements to the sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain, as well as new curb and gutter, asphalt surfacing, and accessible curb ramps.
This work is expected to be complete in approximately two months, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – 26th Street
Beginning on Monday, August 30, 2021, the outside westbound lane of 26th Street will be closed between Deerberry Trail and Sertoma Avenue.
The contractor will be performing underground utility work. This is the first of five phases of work that will occur on 26th Street between Sertoma Avenue and Marion Road. Updates will be provided when traffic control is scheduled to change.
This work is anticipated to be completed by October 30, 2021.

Lane Closure – South Western Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday morning, August 31, 2021, South Western Avenue south of West 37th Street will be narrowed and shifted west to allow work to be done in the area.
Q3 Contracting will be working in the area and is expected to be completed by Thursday, September 2, 2021.
