Nominations Wanted For Sioux Falls Beautiful Excellence Awards

From the City of Sioux Falls: Sioux Falls Beautiful, along with Mayor Paul TenHaken, seeks nominations for the 2019 Sioux Falls Beautiful Excellence Awards Program. The program celebrates community beautification efforts that promote environmental conservation and sustainability practices by recognizing a local resident and their yard and a local business or public space that have been significant in beautifying our community this year.

Sioux Falls Beautiful Excellence Awards nomination categories include:

• Residential—Home and Yard
• Nonresidential—Business or Public Space

Eligible recipients are those who embrace the spirit of community beautification by simply maintaining their property, gardening, enhancing the beauty of an outdoor environment or public space, and who demonstrate sound environmental stewardship, promote sustainable practices, and actively strive to beautify and better the Sioux Falls environment.

Nomination forms can be found on the Sioux Falls Beautiful Facebook page at www.facebook.com/siouxfallsbeautiful, www.siouxfalls.org/planning, or obtained by contacting Sean Ervin at 605-336-1160 or ervinso@teamtsp.com. Nominations for these awards will be accepted until Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Recipients will be announced and receive noteworthy recognition by Mayor TenHaken and the Sioux Falls Beautiful Committee at a regular City Council meeting to be held in fall 2019.
