Kernels knock off No. 3 Watertown in road double-OT victory (mitchellrepublic.com) — Watertown football fans saw a heartbreaker at home Friday night as the No. 3-ranked Arrows fell 23-22 to Mitchell in double overtime after a blocked extra point. Watertown’s offense piled up 325 yards behind quarterback Kaeden Himmerich and running back Tyson Miller, but several key turnovers and Mitchell’s clutch plays in both overtimes proved decisive.
