• Camden Fairview School Board to meet Tuesday (camdenarknews.com) — Camden residents can weigh in Tuesday as the Camden Fairview School Board reviews and is expected to approve the 2026–27 budget at 6 p.m. in Garrison Auditorium on Clifton Street. Members will also consider facility rental policy changes, curriculum policies, and recognize Advanced Placement students and teachers, with public comment welcomed. 
• Wildfire near Camden grows while residents remain concerned (kark.com) — A fast-moving wildfire near Camden has burned roughly 2,000 acres, prompting evacuations and support from churches and schools while, so far, sparing homes. State and local crews, including National Guard helicopters, remain on the scene near Highland Industrial Park as officials work to increase containment and manage road closures amid residents’ ongoing worries about dry conditions.
• More than 2,300 acres burned in Calhoun County fire (4029tv.com) — A large wildfire just east of Camden in Calhoun County has burned more than 2,300 acres, triggering evacuations and road closures as of Tuesday. State emergency officials have fully activated the operations center to coordinate firefighting efforts and support local agencies, urging nearby residents to follow instructions as conditions continue to change.
