• Pedestrian killed in New Castle crash on Wednesday identified, police say (nbcphiladelphia.com) — A 71-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night on southbound North Dupont Highway near Bacon Avenue, just outside New Castle. State police say he entered the road from Manor Park Shopping Center and was hit by a Ram 2500; the New Castle driver and passenger were uninjured. Investigators are asking anyone with information or video to contact them.
   

• Man, 3 teens arrested after stolen car chase ends in crash in New Castle, Del. (nbcphiladelphia.com) — A police pursuit of a reportedly stolen Kia ended Thursday with a crash and four arrests in New Castle, where troopers also recovered a stolen handgun. A 24-year-old man and three teens now face multiple felony charges, with the youths held on secured bonds through the state’s juvenile services system.
