• Aquifer holding strong despite water demands (bonnercountydailybee.com) — Post Falls officials say the Spokane-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer remains healthy, even as local water districts pump billions of gallons annually, mostly for lawn irrigation. The city is updating its 20-year water master plan and urging residents to fix leaks and adjust sprinklers, noting that simple at-home maintenance can significantly cut summer demand and help keep this sole drinking-water source reliable. 
• Super 1 doubles down on Post Falls (cdapress.com) — A much larger Super 1 Foods store is coming to the Highway 41 and Prairie Avenue intersection in Post Falls, with construction underway and opening targeted for July 2027. The $12 million, 54,000-square-foot store will roughly double the size of the existing Post Falls location and employ about 110 people, adding upgraded technology, expanded departments, and new amenities for local shoppers.
