• Product of local family farm wins 2026 'Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee' competition (wmcactionnews5.com) — A Dyersburg rice producer just won the 2026 'Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee' contest, but Alamo is also on the map thanks to Southern Pride's commercial BBQ smoker being named among the notable nominees. The annual competition, run by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry, drew nearly 80,000 votes and showcased manufacturers from across West Tennessee.
