• State board to vote on private partner for I-24 Choice Lanes project. Here's what that means (wsmv.com) — South Nashville drivers and business owners could soon see big changes from the proposed I-24 Choice Lanes, as a state board prepares to pick the private partner that would build and run new toll lanes between downtown and Murfreesboro. Earlier concepts showed several South Nashville businesses, including Pan-Asia Supermarket, might be displaced, though TDOT says the final design could still change.
   

• Interim report released on Nashville's January ice storm NES response (fox17.com) — A new interim report on January's deadly ice storm response highlights how NES planning, communication, and technology problems left thousands, including medically vulnerable South Nashville residents like Darlene Hargis, in dangerous conditions. The mayor's Winter Storm Response Commission says NES has started fixing issues and will deliver a full report by February 2027 to better protect Nashvillians in future disasters.
