• South Nashville residents petition for flight path changes due to constant noise (wkrn.com) — South Nashville neighbors in Crieve Hall, Oak Hill, and nearby areas say new Nashville International Airport departure routes are sending loud planes over their homes every few minutes, and they've organized a petition urging the FAA to rethink the changes. The residents' Course Correct Nashville group wants departures more evenly spread out and higher altitudes over noise-sensitive spots, arguing current routes unfairly concentrate flights over their communities.
