• New Metro Council resolution takes aim at South Nashville flight path concerns (wkrn.com) — Airplane noise over South Nashville neighborhoods has prompted a new Metro Council resolution urging Nashville International Airport and the FAA to work more closely with residents on controversial flight path changes. Neighbors in areas like Crieve Hall and Oak Hill report more than 150 low, loud flights a day and are also challenging the FAA in federal court, while council members push for better communication and mitigation options.
