โ€ข Inmate captured within minutes of leaving Sullivan County Jail (wjhl.com) โ€” An inmate briefly walked out of the old section of the Sullivan County Jail in Blountville on Wednesday morning but was caught within six minutes along Highway 394, and officials say the public was never in danger. The 20-year-old, already held on misdemeanor charges and an immigration detainer, was quickly returned to custody as the incident remains under investigation.
